PPCL Waterfall is also called Digu Waterfall. It is one of the most beautiful hidden waterfalls in Maldevta, Dehradun. It is not restricted now, anyone can visit. The waterfall falls into a clean blue pool and is surrounded by high cliffs and dense forest. It supplies drinking water to 40+ villages in Kimadi, Bhitarli, Maldevta area.
The5am Club explored the nearby trails from this waterfall — there are many secret jungle routes, pine forest trails and river-side walks around it which are totally raw and peaceful.
Hike Details:
– Total Distance: 4-6 km both sides from Maldevta village (nearby trails extend up to 8-10 km)
– Start Point: Maldevta – PPCL gate
– Time: 1-1.5 hrs one side
– Trail Type: Secret beautiful trail with pine trees, jungle, river crossing. Raw and offbeat.
Best For: Those who want secret beautiful trails, pine trees and hidden waterfall exploration.
